I would much rather have waited and bought the Amplitube 4 Mesa Boogie bundle thats available now for 199.

Are the amps in the Deluxe version the same as those in previous versions or have they been redone as well.

If you currently own a previous version of AmpliTube or individual gear models, you can use the Custom Shop feature to restore all of your gear.

You can also expand your rig with more gear models available through the built-in Custom Shop feature.

Tried a hardware Princeton Reverb into a Weber MiniMass going through the AT4 cab versus the Fender model, and I wont bother with using the real amp this way from now on.

I activated all of my past bundles at first install, and I still only have 24 speaker models available.

Not sure where the other 5 would come from as there isnt a speaker designation in the Custom Store, but at this time it doesnt appear AT4 gives you all 29 models from the start.

As far as the deluxe version, it seems it simply bundled a lot of the past gear from AT3.

No big loss for past customers, but seems like a bad move by IK for new adopters that went with the pre-order.

UPDATE: Not sure what changed, but the missing speakers are now showing up.

They appear dark and ask for you to go to the Custom Shop to purchase a cab that includes the speaker.

I take this to indicate that all 29 speakers will not be available as a default in AT4.

So much for It comes with.29 vintage and modern available speaker models.

Fortunately I had previously picked up the Mesa, Fender and Slash packs during various sales so I should have more than enough to keep me busy for a while.

I own AT2, Hendrix, Ampeg, Mesa, Fender, and a bunch of individual models.

I did a comparison with the SLO100 and found AT4 to be more punchy and in your face.

I will still use Amplitube Mesa Boogie because I love it (though they really need to update the presets to eliminate all of the clipping.

The Rectifiers are hard to tweak because they start at an insane volume level).
